Basset Hound Lovers t-shirt designs at Zazzle

I’ve been adding new pet-lover products at my Zazzle store this morning. Here’s an acrylic painting I did of a basset hound puppy that I made into a t-shirt design. It’s too much fun and quite addicitive. Please check out my store at www.zazzle.com/zannypetz and BUY SOMETHING so I can keep this website!

Graphite Pencil Drawing: I’ve been pugged!

Here’s a graphite pencil drawing design inspired by my neighbor’s little pug, Hannah. She’s the silliest little dog ever and we laugh at her antics every day. I love her. I’m wondering if this might make a good t-shirt design.  Any comments? What do you think?

Graphite Pencil Drawing/Gouache Painting: In honor of my dog

I know I posted this graphite pencil drawing awhile back, but… this posting is in honor of Keebler Alf’s life. He died on Friday, and I guess I’m still in shock and grieving. Oh sure, he was just a mutt, and he was 18 years old, but was in what I thought was excellent health. I [...]

Graphite Pencil Drawing: Irish Setter Quick Sketch

This is a quick graphite pencil sketch of Blue, one of my neighbor’s Irish Setters. He’s terrific, friendly, always waggin’ that big tail. He was staring at me for attention when I snapped his photo, and when I saw the photo I had to laugh right out loud. Blue has one of those noses that [...]

Graphte Pencil Drawing: Color added to the siamese cat drawing

Just for the fun of it, I had to go back and add some color to the graphite pencil drawing I did earlier this month of Twoshe, the crosseyed siamese cat. It was those eyes that were demanding it. She was so darn lovable. I still miss her, years later.

Graphite Pencil Drawing: Siamese Cat

This graphite pencil drawing is of Twoshe, the siamese cat who adopted us years ago. I loved the way she was looking directly at me, despite those crossed eyes! I might have to add some color to this drawing, especially to highlight her eyes.

Graphite Pencil Drawing: Calico Cat in the Sun, Quick Sketch

Zoe, the calico cat who has befriended the squirrel family, was taking a quick bath on the rock in the garden. I had to do this graphite pencil drawing of her very quickly, sketching her in first. I knew the trees and shrubs would remain long after she left the scene. However, I think this [...]

Graphite Pencil Drawing: Sadie, the Basset Hound

My neighbor recently adopted Sadie, a wonderful Basset Hound, from the local animal shelter. This dog has a very laid-back attitude about everything, almost like she’s the observer of life rather than an active participant.  In this graphite pencil drawing I wanted to capture that attitude…you know, the “entertain me” thing. If I were going to make [...]

Graphite Pencil Drawing: The Mixed Breed Dog, my own mutt

Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of my own dog, Keebler Alf, who is definitely a mixed breed dog! A mutt I found playing in traffic 17 years ago now. I have no clue what breeds combined to create this guy, but when I snapped the photo of him, he had taken over my favorite easy [...]
