Graphite Goddess

My neighbor recently adopted Sadie, a wonderful dog, a Basset Hound, from the local animal shelter. This dog has a very laid-back attitude about everything, almost like she’s the observer of life rather than an active participant.  In this graphite pencil drawing I wanted to capture that attitude…you know, the “entertain me” thing. If I were going to make this drawing into a greeting card, I think the caption would have to be something like “I don’t do mornings”!
