Graphite Pencil Drawing: More Puppy Love, Lucy and her Schnauzer
Lucy is my neighbor’s daughter and I did this graphite pencil drawing of her right after she was introduced to Lady, her new Schnauzer puppy. When Lucy’s Mom told me they were getting a dog, I was somewhat concerned. Lucy tended to be a super ball of energy always, and my thought was that any puppy would be completely overwhelmed by her constant motion. I had nothing to worry about however. Lady was just as hyper as Lucy, and they were a fantastic match. They wore each other out, snoozed on the same schedule and in some strange way, seemed to calm each other down. It was great fun to watch.
