Graphite Pencil Drawing: Bald Eagle
There is a river north of here that is a wonderful spring refuge for bald eagles. Every year I go with camera in hand to photograph them perched in the trees, swooping for salmon and gliding on the winds. This graphite pencil drawing is of an adult eagle. The juvenile ones are all brown in color. I guess they have to grow into those magnificent white feathers.
