It’s still too early for any iris to be blooming, but I am so ready for this winter to be over and all the flowers to appear! Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of the blooms from last year’s crop. Too bad they don’t last any longer than they do.
Last night I used my photo editing program on the graphite pencil drawing of Beau, the German Shepherd. I’m still hoping to get some feedback on which one is more popular, so if you can, leave me a comment and tell me which one you like. Here’s a comparison of the two.

Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of three donkeys who met me at the fenceline of my friend’s ranch. She told me they are brothers, and quite the characters, each having a very unique and distinct personality. I tried to capture that in this drawing.
Ok…I have to quit this now. I could literally spend hours on this Arabian horse project. My original graphite pencil drawing looks really weak compared to the computer enhanced version. YIKES. Scarey!
