Graphite Pencil Drawing: Grumpy Cat
Yes, a cat can be grumpy and I wanted to capture that expression in a graphite pencil drawing. There’s a pecking order that happens when you own more than one cat! When I brought the newest kitten home and set him down on the floor in front of the others, the matriarch of the bunch was obviously NOT at all happy with the situation. I happened to snap her picture at the height of her disgust. Gradually she did warm up to the newcomer, sorta, while never letting him question her ranking.
