Graphite Goddess

Well……….I couldn’t make the bed! The cat was snoozin’ so peacefully, there was no wayI could disturb her late morning cat nap.  My goal with this graphite pencil drawing was to convey the absolutely soft atmosphere of the scene. The way the sun was streaming through the window and catching her fur, the way folds in the blankets nestled her, her little soft muffled purring. It was breathtakingly peaceful. I had no option but to draw the scene.
