Graphite Pencil Drawing: Afternoon Snooze

This graphite pencil drawing is of my daughter, Katrina, who was watching TV one afternoon with our little dog Shannon. I had uggested it was time to take a nap, but she insisted she wasn’t tired and wanted to watch TV instead. OK, I said, as I gently covered her with the afghan. About 10 minutes later I looked over to see this scene…….both completely zonked out! I knew you weren’t tired, honey, just in need of a little snooze. :-)

  1. I like this drawing because it captures the emotion. You can feel exactly how the Mother felt, with the heart that was put into this piece of art.
One of my favorites for sure.
